Text Box: Use 1" X 4" Board And Wood Screws. Make Sure It Is Solid And Will Not Spread Apart During The Install.

In the above photo, the hole is drilled with a 1 3/8" hole saw. Then cut the notch NO WIDER than 1 3/8".

Make sure the 1" PVC coupling cannot slip through.

The square notch is for any electrical wires or piping from your submersible pump.

You  can also use wood as a permanent well cap
